KRSU participates in the II International Conference on Inclusive Culture at RUDN University
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University takes part in the II International Scientific and Practical Conference «Contribution of Universities to the Development of Inclusive Culture in Society», which is held at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The event brought together more than 800 participants from Russia and the CIS countries, including representatives of educational institutions, government agencies and public organizations.
KRSU is represented at the conference by leading specialist of the social programs department Poladzhan Suleymanov. He made a presentation at the section «Readiness of teaching staff to work in an inclusive environment of the university», sharing the university’s experience in the formation and development of an inclusive culture and higher inclusive education in the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the conference, participants discuss key issues in the development of inclusive education, including the creation of network programs for students with disabilities, the integration of inclusive approaches into the educational process, as well as improving government policy in this area.
The first day of the conference ended with a seminar-meeting with university vice-rectors responsible for inclusive education. The seminar was chaired by Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova, who emphasized the importance of integrating inclusive education into the higher education system.
KRSU's participation in the conference highlights the university's commitment to developing an inclusive educational environment and strengthening international cooperation in this area.
