KRSU strengthens position on educational map of India

As part of the visit of the delegation of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University to the Republic of India, the head of the administration of KRSU, Yulia Kalyuzhnaya, held a working meeting at the School of International Studies of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi.The parties discussed prospects for the development of academic cooperation, issues of academic mobility, the implementation of joint educational and scientific projects, as well as the updating of the current cooperation agreement between KRSU and JNU, signed in 2009.Jawaharlal Nehru University is one of the leading public research universities in India. Its structure includes 10 schools and 4 specialized centers. The university occupies a strong position in the field of international studies, regional studies, languages, social sciences and humanities.For KRSU, of particular interest are the School of International Studies, the Center for Russian and Central Asian Studies and the Center of Russian Studies, whose activities are related to the study of international relations, Central Asia, the Russian language and intercultural interaction.As a result of the meeting, mutual interest in expanding partnerships, developing contacts between teachers and students, as well as implementing joint initiatives in the educational and scientific fields was confirmed.The meeting took place within the framework of the II Indian-Russian Educational Summit «Russian Education 2026», which takes place in New Delhi and brings together leading universities in Russia and India.
