KRSU — to the rhythm of world sports!

On May 24, 2025, the international half marathon One Run was held in Bishkek, organized by the Russian “League of Heroes”. This large-scale sporting event brought together more than 2,000 participants, including students and staff of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU).

The race in Bishkek became part of a global project taking place simultaneously in 26 countries, including Russia, China, Brazil, Egypt, India, the UAE and Belarus. In total, more than 210 thousand people around the world took part in the event. It has become a symbol of global cooperation, overcoming borders and uniting people from different parts of the planet through sports.

“It wasn't just a race. It was a real celebration of energy, will and unity. We felt like we were part of something big and significant», — one of the participants from KRSU will share his impressions.

Most of the race participants covered a distance of 5 km and 10 km. More than 100 people showed up for the longest - 21 km.

By joining One Run, KRSU participants not only took up the challenge, but also recalled the importance of an active lifestyle, team spirit and international solidarity.
