KRSU will host the national stage of the international championship «Global HackAtom» in Kyrgyzstan for the first time

For the first time, Kyrgyzstan will host the national stage of the international student championship in atomic technologies «Global HackAtom». Students from the country's universities are invited to participate.The championship is aimed at popularizing engineering specialties and developing interest in modern technologies. In 2026, national stages «Global HackAtom» are taking place in 15 countries, including Kyrgyzstan.The national stage will take place on May 13–14, 2026 at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University in Bishkek. Championship theme — «Nuclear technologies for life and health».The format of the event involves intensive teamwork: participants will solve a practical task within 24 hours, the content of which will be disclosed directly on the start day. On the second day, the teams will present their projects to an expert jury.The working language of the championship is English, which involves preparing and defending projects at the international level.Teams of six are allowed to participate: five students and one mentor. Age of participants — up to 35 years.The winners of the national stage will represent Kyrgyzstan at the Grand Final of the championship, which will be held in September 2026 in Yekaterinburg. The costs of participation in the final are borne by the host party.Team registration is open until May 8, 2026.
