Course towards unified communication: universities of the Kyrgyz Republic are strengthening information cooperation

Head of the Information Policy Department of KRSU Nadezhda Sidorova took part in a working meeting of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic, dedicated to the implementation of information policy in the field of higher education.The meeting, held in a hybrid format online and offline, was of an introductory nature: the participants discussed key approaches to building a unified information agenda, taking into account the fact that the relevant ministry was created relatively recently and is at the stage of forming mechanisms for interaction with universities.During the meeting, issues of coordinating information support for the activities of higher educational institutions, building systematic work of press services, as well as interaction with relevant departments of the ministry were discussed. Special attention is paid to the formation of a unified agenda reflecting current changes in the education system.Heads of university information services from all regions of the republic took part in the discussion. The parties indicated their readiness to develop cooperation, including mutual publications and synchronization of information materials.In addition, the participants touched upon the development of new formats of work on social networks, the launch of thematic sections, as well as improving the quality of informing students and applicants about competitions, educational opportunities and innovations through official websites and digital platforms of universities.
