The Kyrgyz language is our culture, identity and future

On September 23, as part of the Day of the Kyrgyz Language, a curatorial hour dedicated to the importance of the Kyrgyz language in the life of modern society was held in groups **ZChS 1-26 and ZChS 2-26* of the Department of Ecology and Protection in Emergency Situations of the Polytechnic Institute KRSU.

The curators of the groups are *Ismailova Zh.Zh. and Akmatov D.R.* - held a conversation with students about the role of the state language, its importance for the preservation of national culture, history and traditions, as well as the importance of speaking the Kyrgyz language in professional and public life.

Particular attention was paid to the fact that knowledge of the state language is an important part of the professional development of a young specialist. Proficiency in the Kyrgyz language opens up additional opportunities for communication, working with the population, participating in public projects and further career growth.

During the curatorial hour, issues that students had accumulated in the first weeks of the academic year were also discussed. Students were able to speak openly about the difficulties encountered, ask questions to curators and receive the necessary clarifications and recommendations.

The meeting was held in the format of *free and confidential communication*. The curators provided students with organizational and practical assistance, discussed current issues of the educational process and adaptation to university life.

Such curatorial hours contribute to the students' sense of responsibility, mutual respect and team spirit, and also help create a favorable atmosphere in student groups.
