Mikhail Shvydkoy will visit Kyrgyzstan and meet with KRSU students

On Tuesday, February 11, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation, Mikhail Shvydkoy, will pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan.

As part of the trip, he will meet with the acting rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov, and will also communicate with university students.

The main purpose of the visit is to strengthen cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation, as well as discuss issues in the field of education. Mikhail Shvydkoy, born in the city of Kant, Kyrgyzstan, has repeatedly emphasized his attachment to his native land and the importance of developing cultural ties between the two countries.

It is expected that the meeting with KRSU students will become a platform for open dialogue on the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of culture and education, and will also allow discussing current issues of concern to the youth of both countries.

Mikhail Shvydkoy has held the position of Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation since 2008 and is actively involved in the development and strengthening of cultural ties between Russia and other states.
