Youth, media and partnership: the III Kyrgyz-Russian Media Forum will be held at KRSU
From August 14 to 17, 2025, the III Kyrgyz-Russian Media Forum will be held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. This annual event has already established itself as a significant platform for dialogue between students, young media professionals, communications experts, representatives of government agencies and educational institutions of the two countries.
The forum was organized as part of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of education, media and youth policy. Its main goal is to create conditions for the professional growth of a new generation of journalists, bloggers, PR and digital communications specialists. About a hundred students from Russia and Kyrgyzstan, representing leading universities and youth initiatives, will participate in the forum.
The forum programme includes lectures, panel discussions, interactive workshops and teamwork led by experienced mentors and trainers. The topics of discussion cover current challenges of the modern media environment: ethics in the era of digitalization, features of content promotion, creation and development of a personal brand, formats of successful blogs, as well as media trends in the Eurasian space.
The grand opening of the forum will take place on August 14. Representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as media organizations are expected to participate.
The Kyrgyz-Russian media forum at KRSU — is not only an educational platform, but also a space for creating new projects, discussing ideas and developing youth initiatives. Holding the forum on an ongoing basis confirms its relevance and relevance, and also emphasizes the role of KRSU as one of the key educational and cultural centers of the Eurasian space.
