A seminar was held at FADIS on improving energy efficiency in construction

On November 10, a scientific and practical seminar dedicated to World Science Day was held at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction. The main theme of the event was the promotion of energy efficiency and energy saving in construction.

Seminar participants – KRSU students – got acquainted with modern energy-saving technologies, discussed the use of renewable energy sources, increasing the energy efficiency of buildings in construction, and the implementation of VI IM-technologies in design.

The speakers were professor of Moscow Architectural Institute Nikolai Shilkin, associate professor of UrFU Irina Maltseva, as well as representatives of KRSU – associate professors Maken Berdybaeva and Adyl Akmatov.

Senior FADIS students made presentations in which they discussed the development of energy audits in Kyrgyzstan, the use of solar energy in the heat supply of buildings, increasing the energy efficiency of the dormitory for the new KRSU campus and much more.
