A mural dedicated to the Soviet Turkologist Konstantin Yudakhin appeared on the building of the Faculty of Humanities

On September 16, a mural dedicated to the Soviet Turkologist, lexicographer, expert in living Turkic languages and ancient Turkic writing, creator of the fundamental Kyrgyz-Russian and Russian-Kyrgyz dictionary Konstantin Kuzmich Yudakhin appeared on the wall of the Faculty of Humanities.

The outstanding scientist made a huge contribution to the development of current problems of Turkology, Kyrgyz linguistics, literary criticism and history. Kyrgyz-russian dictionary – the work of K. Yudakhin’s life – it has truly become the titanium bond of Kyrgyz-Russian spiritual unity.

The opening of the mural took place within the framework of Festival «Kyrgyzstan – Russia: common cultural heritage».
