New horizons: KRSU schoolchildren discover Russia
A group of students from the KRSU school takes an active part in the educational program of the International School «Interdom» named after E.D. Stasovaya, which takes place in the city of Ivanovo. This large-scale social and humanitarian project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and is aimed at strengthening cultural and educational ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
From the first days of their stay, the children show keen interest and enthusiasm, participating in a variety of cultural and educational events. One of the highlights was the design work competition, in which KRSU schoolchildren presented original ideas and successfully qualified for the finals.
As part of the art festival «Russian Venice», held in the picturesque village of Kholui, the children watched with admiration the descent of painted pharaoh boats along the Teza River, took part in master classes on painting souvenirs and enjoyed the performances of folklore groups.
No less impressive was the visit to the ancient city of Kostroma — one of the pearls of the Golden Ring of Russia. Particular attention of schoolchildren was attracted by Susaninskaya Square with the historical Fire Tower and the Guardhouse building, which houses the military-historical department of the museum-reserve. At the Kostroma State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve, program participants got acquainted with a rich collection of exhibits reflecting the cultural heritage of the region.
The children also attended the festival of theatrical miniatures in foreign languages «BRAVO», where young actors performed productions in English, French and German. This event became not only a source of inspiration for the participants, but also a new creative experience.
The International School program also includes visits to leading Russian colleges and universities, which helps schoolchildren better navigate their choice of future profession.
A trip for KRSU students is not just an educational experience, but also a unique opportunity to broaden their horizons, make new acquaintances and find unforgettable experiences, which they will warmly take with them to their homeland.
