New opportunities for medical education: KRSU explores the experience of India

As part of the visit of the delegation of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University to the Republic of India, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of KRSU Madina Zhamankulova visited BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital Delhi — one of the largest multidisciplinary medical centers in the country.The hospital is part of the Max Healthcare network and is one of the leading medical institutions in India. Its structure includes modern clinical departments in the areas of oncology, cardiology and cardiac surgery, neurosciences, transplantology, orthopedics, gastroenterology and hematology. The medical center has 650 beds, 162 ICU beds and 22 modular operating rooms.During the visit, a representative of KRSU got acquainted with the organization of clinical and practical training of medical personnel, the work of simulation-oriented educational programs, as well as modern approaches to the provision of high-tech medical care.During the meeting, special attention was paid to the prospects for cooperation between KRSU and Indian medical organizations. The parties discussed the possibilities of organizing clinical internships for senior students and residents, holding joint lectures, master classes and expert consultations with the participation of hospital specialists.The experience of Indian colleagues in training foreign students, introducing modern clinical protocols, developing medical tourism and interaction of medical institutions with educational and scientific organizations is also of interest to the Faculty of Medicine KRSU.The visit became an important stage in the development of international cooperation KRSU and expanding the possibilities of practical training of future doctors within the framework of interaction with leading medical centers in the world.
