He united Central Asia with a word

Work on the documentary-biographical monograph has been completed at the KRSU Publishing House «K.K. Yudakhin. Uniting Central Asia with a word». The new publication is dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of the Soviet Turkologist, lexicographer, expert on living Turkic languages and ancient Turkic writing Konstantin Kuzmich Yudakhin.

The authors of the book – Doctor of Historical Sciences Olga Sumarokova and Candidate of Historical Sciences Leonid Sumarokov, based on documentary materials, many of which are being presented for the first time, revealed the comprehensive activities of this outstanding scientist, who was involved in the development of current problems of Turkology, Kyrgyz linguistics, literary criticism and history, who created Kyrgyz-Russian and Russian-Kyrgyz dictionaries – a set of lexical richness of the modern Kyrgyz language.

The monograph is part of the book series «Eurasian Creators», the first of which were documentary-biographical monographs prepared by the authors of the current work «Chingiz Aitmatov – Man-Universe» and «Eurasian Chronicles by N.M. Przhevalsky». In all their books, scientists reveal the contribution of outstanding personalities to the development of the Eurasian space.
