Olga Petrova highly appreciated the development of KRSU and student initiatives

A meeting was held at the university between Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova (https://t.me/OlgaPetrovaNN) with the leadership of KRSU and representatives of student associations.Rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov presented the results of the university’s development over the past year, spoke about the implementation of the tasks set during the previous visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, as well as key achievements in the field of youth policy, educational work and infrastructure development.Student initiatives were emphasized. The meeting participants were presented with projects of Russian student teams, academic mobility programs, volunteer initiatives, patriotic projects and the work of youth associations of the university.«We very highly appreciate the attention paid to our students. Today, it is young people who are becoming the main engine of many university projects. Our task —to create conditions in which children can implement their ideas, gain their first professional experience and confidently build their future», — noted Sergei Volkov.The rector also spoke about the implementation of patriotic, historical and educational projects. One of the most significant was the project to restore the monument to Hero of the Soviet Union Ivan Panfilov in the village of Panfilovskoye.Projects in the field of youth tourism and volunteerism were presented separately. The university continues to develop «More than Travel» programs, popular science and patriotic tourism, and the infrastructure of the educational and health complex «Zhashtyk» is expanding. In addition, on May 29, an international forum on the development of the volunteer movement will be held at the KRSU site together with Dobro.rf. Also, more than 180 applications from university students have already been submitted to participate in the volunteer program of the World Nomad Games.During the meeting, Sergei Volkov also presented the infrastructural changes implemented at the university in recent years: modernization of educational spaces, development of the digital environment, updating of the material and technical base, creation of new youth and educational platforms.Olga Petrova highly appreciated the work of the university and noted the positive changes taking place in KRSU.«Every time I come to KRSU, I see real changes — the university environment is developing, new projects are appearing, and students are becoming more proactive and self-confident.
