From the work program to the finished digital course: KRSU has «Course Factory»

On the basis of the Department for the Development of Electronic Educational Resources KRSU, the author's development - «Course Factory» was introduced. The service helps automate the first stages of creating electronic educational courses and reduce their development time by 20-50%.Work begins with a discipline work program. «Course Factory» analyzes it and automatically forms the framework of the future course: determines the structure and creates sections for lectures, practical and laboratory classes, independent work and knowledge control.Next, the teacher, together with specialists from the Department, fills the course with educational materials, assignments and tests, and prepares presentations. The next stage is recording video lectures in the KRSU self-recording studio, where a teleprompter is available, demonstrating presentations, images, videos, diagrams and a computer screen.After editing, the video materials become part of the electronic course.
