Applications for the student media competition are now open «Science in my region»

We have started accepting applications for participation in the student media competition «Science in my region», aimed at creating media content about science and the achievements of higher education.Students involved in the work of student media and interested in popularizing the scientific agenda are invited to participate. Participants can submit their works in five categories: «Photo», «Video», «Text», «Media Project» and «Graphic Design».Competition materials are accepted until May 22, 2026 inclusive. The application (Appendix 1 to these Regulations) and competition materials must be sent by email: naukakonkurs2026@yandex.ru until 23:59 (Moscow time) May 22, 2026 inclusive. In the subject line of the letter, indicate «Press Tour Competition».The project is focused on creating a sustainable interest in science, developing popular science journalism skills and creating a unified media environment dedicated to covering scientific topics.Based on the results of the competition, winners in each category will be determined. The best participants will have the opportunity to take part in a scientific press tour to Naukograd Koltsovo in the Novosibirsk region.
