Registration for the World Russian Language Championship among foreigners — 2026 (World Russian Championship) is open!Teams from all over the world are invited to take part in the largest international competition in the Russian language.Organizers — Federal State Budgetary Institution «Intereducation» with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.Who can participate?• 4-member team: mentor (from 21 years old) and 3 members;• participants — foreign nationals and stateless persons from 16 to 35 years of age;• citizens of the Russian Federation are not allowed as participants.Registration is now open: https://russianchampionship.com/
Participation — free.The qualifying stage will take place from July 17 to October 1, 2026 in a distance format. Participants will have to complete testing in the Russian language, upload a portfolio and complete a creative task.The final will take place on November 20–22 in Moscow. For the finalists, the organizers will provide travel to Russia and back, visa support, accommodation and meals. In addition to competitive tests, participants will enjoy cultural and excursion programs.Main prize — the title of World Champion in the Russian language, a championship cup and the opportunity for free education at Russian universities.
