Memory and duty: a concert was held at KRSU «February, February — soldier's month»
A theatrical concert was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University «February, February — Soldier's Month», dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day.
The event was attended by representatives of government and public organizations, cultural figures, teachers and university students. The concert was dedicated to the theme of military feat and preservation of historical memory.
The program included literary and musical compositions, vocal, choreographic and theatrical numbers. During the speeches, pages of history related to the Great Patriotic War, internationalist soldiers and participants in the Batken events were touched upon. It focused on issues of courage, duty and responsibility to the past.
Nikolai Kudryavtsev, special representative of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science on issues of Russian-national (joint) universities, adviser to the rector of KRSU, addressed the participants and spectators with a welcoming speech. He noted that work to preserve the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland is part of the educational and educational activities of the university.
The head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the Kyrgyz Republic, Albert Zulkharneev, spoke about the importance of the common historical and cultural space of Russia and Kyrgyzstan in the context of Defender of the Fatherland Day. According to him, turning to the military theme in culture contributes to the understanding of historical processes and the preservation of value guidelines.
Speaking to the event participants, the head of the Kyrgyz Society of Siege Survivors of Leningrad, Marat Kutanov, emphasized that the concept of a defender of the Fatherland goes beyond military service and includes work, sacrifice and personal responsibility.
Honored artists of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as students and creative groups of KRSU took part in the concert program.
The theatrical concert «February, February —soldier's month» became part of the cultural and educational work of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, aimed at developing in students a respectful attitude towards history and memory of the defenders of the Fatherland.
