The results of the competition for compensation payments for accommodation for KRSU students have been summed up
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Commission has completed the selection of students to receive compensation for accommodation in the autumn semester of 2024. These payments are provided by the Russian Federation to support nonresident and foreign students.
Representatives of the financial department said that the money arrived in rubles and was converted into national currency at the rate of 1 ruble = 0.92 soms. As a result, the payment amount was 6440 som for each student.
A total of 732 applications from students of different faculties were considered:
- Faculty of Humanities — 83 applications
- Natural-technical — 154
- Medical — 246
- Architecture, design and construction — 54
- International relations — 68
- Economy — 57
- Faculty of Law — 70 applications
As a result, the commission decided to allocate 498 places for students who can receive compensation:
- 240 places for students in preferential categories with small academic debts.
- 258 places for students with high academic achievements (average score 4.4 and above).
The commission approved the winners. Students will begin receiving compensation for September and October until October 25, 2024, and further payments will arrive until the 25th of each month.
