«Poets of Pushkin’s circle»: an evening of Russian poetry was held at KRSU

At the Faculty of Humanities of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, a literary evening «Poets of Pushkin’s Circle» was held, dedicated to Russian Language Day and the birthday of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin.The event was organized by the Department of Russian Philology. The evening participants included third-year students of the Faculty of Humanities, as well as foreign students from India.The program combined acquaintance with interesting facts from the life of the great Russian poet and his contemporaries, reading the works of Alexander Pushkin and representatives of his literary circle. Students took part in a reading competition «Onegin stanzas», a literary ring based on the comedy by Alexander Griboyedov «Woe from Wit» and a thematic quiz dedicated to Pushkin and the poets of his era.The event became a platform for creative communication, allowed participants to become more deeply acquainted with Russian literature of the 19th century and emphasized the importance of the Russian language as an important part of cultural heritage.
