Russian Ambassador Sergei Vakunov: Russia pays great attention to the development of KRSU

Today, during a business breakfast with Kyrgyz media, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kyrgyz Republic Sergei Vakunov emphasized the key role of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) in the development of education and strengthening interstate ties.

According to Sergei Vakunov, Russia pays special attention to the development of KRSU as a leading educational institution that trains highly qualified specialists for various sectors of the economy. In the near future, — strengthening work on targeted training for Russian and Kyrgyz enterprises.

The ambassador paid special attention to issues of interuniversity cooperation. As part of academic mobility, it is planned to expand exchange programs for students, as well as intensify internships and joint scientific projects.

"The new ambitious KRSU team sets goals aimed at qualitative changes in the educational process and scientific activity. We expect that teachers from Russia will come more often to exchange experiences, which will further strengthen the university’s position in the international arena," noted Sergei Vakunov.

KRSU continues to be a symbol of friendship and strategic partnership between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, actively implementing educational projects that meet the challenges of our time.
