Representatives of KRSU took part in the discussion of the National List of Vital Medicines of Kyrgyzstan
A round table was held in Bishkek to discuss the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic «On approval of the National List of Vital Medicines for 2026–2028». The event was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic with the participation of representatives of government bodies, international organizations, the expert community and medical universities of the country.The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was represented at the event by the dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Saamai Abilova.Employees of the Department of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology KRSU played a special role in the preparation of the draft National List. The chief freelance clinical pharmacologist of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, head of the department of basic and clinical pharmacology of KRSU, Professor Aida Zurdinova presented participants with information on the principles and methodology for creating the list, criteria for selecting medicines, as well as the use of evidence, clinical guidelines and recommendations of the World Health Organization.Associate Professor of the Department of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology KRSU, Candidate of Medical Sciences Ainura Sharaeva also took part in the expert work on the selection of medicines for the National List.During the discussion, issues of providing the population with vital medicines, increasing the transparency and scientific validity of the process of forming the list, as well as improving the country’s drug supply system were discussed.Participants supported the need to approve an updated National List of Vital Medicines, which will become the basis for government drug supply programs, the development of clinical protocols and the organization of drug procurement.The participation of representatives of KRSU in the development and expert support of the National List confirms the high level of professional and scientific expertise of the university in the field of clinical pharmacology and healthcare.
