KRSU teachers completed an internship at St. Petersburg Polytechnic University to develop educational programs
As part of the joint work plan of KRSU and Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU) for 2025, an internship for teachers of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University in St. Petersburg was held from April 7 to 12.
The internship was devoted to the development and improvement of basic educational programs, as well as the integration of best practices in organizing the educational process used in SPbPU. It was attended by the heads of departments of KRSU:
Mambetov Erik Munaitbasovich, Ph.D, Head, Department of Ecology and Protection in Emergency Situations;
Jamankulov Azamat Keneshbekovich, Ph.D., Head. Department of Mechanics and Instrument Engineering;
Aitimbetova Aigul Nurisovna, Ph.D., Head. Department of Physics and Microelectronics, Head of the OOP «Electronics and Nanoelectronics»;
Lychenko Natalya Mikhailovna, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head. Department of Information and Computing Technologies, Head of the Master's Program «Software Engineering»;
Sardarbekova Elmira Karagulovna, Ph.D., acting head. Department of Construction.
The internship program included intensive work with the heads of SPbPU institutes, participation in thematic lectures, seminars, tours of laboratories and the supercomputer center of the university. Particular attention was paid to the model of multi-track training of engineers, regulatory support for educational programs, new formats of state final certification and project activities of students.
As part of individual sessions, representatives of KRSU had the opportunity to get acquainted with the features of the implementation of educational programs at the Higher School of Electronics and Microsystem Engineering, the Higher School of Software Engineering, the Civil Engineering Institute and other structural divisions of SPbPU.
Participants also took part in a discussion of issues of interaction with industrial partners, organizing a fundamental training system and automating the preparation of accompanying documentation for students.
The completion of the internship was the defense of presentations of the developed PLO, prepared by representatives of KRSU within the framework of the program.
The experience gained will contribute to the further development of KRSU educational programs, taking into account modern requirements and international standards of engineering education.
