KRSU teachers completed an internship at St. Petersburg Polytechnic University
As part of the cooperation between the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, an educational internship was held for the heads of KRSU educational programs.
The internship was aimed at studying modern approaches to the design of educational programs, introducing innovative teaching methods and developing partnerships with industrial enterprises. During the visit, participants held meetings with the Directorate of Basic Educational Programs of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and discussed the multi-track engineering training model, networking and organization of student project activities.
Particular attention was paid to cooperation with the Physico-Mechanical Institute of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. Head of the Department of Mechanics and Instrumentation at KRSU Azamat Dzhamankulov met with the leadership of the institute and visited scientific laboratories. Aerodynamic research facilities, computational physics laboratories and stands for studying hydrodynamics were demonstrated.
Also during the visit, a meeting was held with the director of the Higher School of Mechanics and Management Processes, Alexander Belyaev, where the prospects for academic mobility and advanced training of KRSU teachers were discussed.
An important part of the internship was participation in the Youth Career Forum — KRSU teachers became acquainted with the employment practices of graduates and effective mechanisms for interaction with employers.
The internship ended with a final certification, during which representatives of KRSU presented their own educational programs, emphasizing their practice-oriented nature, the participation of industrial partners and career prospects for students.
