Teachers of KRSU spoke at the VI scientific and practical conference of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic
Associate professors of the Department of Ecology and Protection in Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took part in the VI scientific and practical conference «Integration of international experience into the disaster risk reduction system», organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic. The event took place on October 8 in the conference hall of the Hyatt Regency Bishkek hotel and brought together experts from government agencies, international organizations and the scientific community.
Faculty members of the department gave presentations on current topics:
Kulsan Kadyralieva presented a study «The impact of intensive use of road transport on the environmental condition of the city of Bishkek»;
Ermek Sharsheev spoke about «Remote sensing, geographic information technologies and land reclamation as tools and a system of measures to reduce disaster risks»;
Gulmira Shabikova made a report «Spatial analysis of emergency situations on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic».
The reports aroused keen interest among the conference participants and were highly appreciated by experts for their practical significance and relevance.
The participation of KRSU teachers in the forum emphasizes the active role of the university in solving problems of environmental safety, disaster risk reduction and sustainable development. The studies presented are aimed at improving emergency response mechanisms and improving the environmental situation in the country. The conference became an important platform for the exchange of international experience and strengthening cooperation between the scientific community, government agencies and international organizations.
