Presentation of the Faculty of Education KRSU at the Kyrgyz-Russian Fair: training of bilingual teachers in the spotlight
As part of the Kyrgyz-Russian Education Fair, a presentation of the pedagogical faculty KRSU took place on Issyk-Kul. The head of the educational program «Pedagogy» KRSU, Zarina Akhmetova, spoke about the problem of an acute shortage of teachers in secondary schools who are able to work in conditions of interlingual communication.
The goal of the faculty is to create the necessary material, technical, scientific and methodological conditions for the effective training of teachers who can conduct educational activities based on bilingualism. To achieve this goal, several key study programss have been identified:
1. In-depth language training of students in Kyrgyz and Russian languages.
2. Mastering skills of interlingual and intercultural communication.
3. Scientific and methodological support for the educational process.
4. Advanced training of teachers together with Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University.
The Russian delegation highly appreciated the achievements of KRSU, noting its significant contribution to the development of teacher education. The Minister of Education of Kyrgyzstan expressed interest in further cooperation and declared the ministry’s readiness to provide support in the development of this educational program.
