President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov congratulated Kyrgyzstanis on Knowledge Day
President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov addressed the citizens of the country with congratulations on the occasion of Knowledge Day.
The head of state noted that times are changing, but the importance of education remains unchanged. According to him, in the 21st century, the main direction and driving force of society’s development remains the education system.
«Only in those States where education is developed are political, cultural, economic and other transformations taking place. Education — the foundation of the long-term development of the state, and investment in education — the most important contribution to the future of the country», —the president emphasized.
Sadyr Zhaparov focused on the fact that the priority of state policy is the transition from quantity to quality. «Our main goal today is — to give each student deep and complete knowledge. Updating training methods, training competitive specialists and creating the necessary conditions for this have become one of the most important study programs of the state», — he said.
The President also noted that the program «Altyn Kazyk» it is a symbol of modern education, and the mission of teachers is to use it as a guide in the new era, passing on strong knowledge and values to students.
In his address, the head of state expressed gratitude to the teachers, emphasizing their key role in the development of the education system:
«It is only through the professionalism and creative work of teachers that it is possible to develop education in accordance with the requirements of the time».
According to Education Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, more than 1.5 million schoolchildren are currently studying in Kyrgyzstan.
