The admissions campaign at universities in Kyrgyzstan starts on July 13
Admission of applicants to higher educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan will begin on July 13, said Ainura Isiralieva, head of the department of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation.
Enrollment will be based on the results of the National Test. The threshold score for the main test will be 110, for the subject tests — 60. For a number of study programs, separate thresholds have been established: teacher education — 130 points for grant places and 115 for contract places; healthcare — 120 and 110 points, respectively; agriculture — 100 points regardless of the form of education. Areas of art, physical culture and sports are subject to different selection criteria.
Submission of documents will go through online platform «Applicant Online». There is a Center for the Admission of Foreign Students for citizens of foreign countries.
Admission to secondary specialized educational institutions will begin earlier — from July 6. Since 2026, ORT results are required not only for admission to universities, but also to colleges after the 11th grade. 9th form graduates can enter college on the basis of a certificate of basic general education.
