The project of the student KRSU was among the best at the «Summer University – 2026» in Kazan

Students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took part in the international educational project «Summer University – 2026», which was held on the basis of the Kazan Federal University.This year, 430 people from 25 countries took part in the project, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Abkhazia, Transnistria, Brazil, Egypt, Indonesia, India, China, Morocco, Mongolia, Oman, Chile, Vietnam, Malaysia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tajikistan, Sudan, Peru, Zimbabwe and Russia.The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was represented at the project by students Angelina Bulatova, Ekaterina Budarina, Akcholpon Karmyshakova, Polina Nurgaleeva and Begimai Bolotbekovna Mametkabilova.More than 20 educational programs were organized for participants in Russian and English. They covered a wide range of study programs — from software engineering, artificial intelligence and digital products to business analytics, architecture, design, astronomy, astrophysics and the humanities.For two weeks, students attended lectures and workshops by leading teachers and experts, participated in discussions and project sessions, and worked in international teams to address pressing social, scientific and technological challenges.The program was aimed at developing professional competencies, leadership qualities, project skills and intercultural communication. Special attention was paid to introducing foreign students to the Russian higher education system, culture and traditions of the Republic of Tatarstan.«Summer University» is implemented by Kazan Federal University with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and FGANU «Sociocenter». Large enterprises and government agencies also participate in the preparation and implementation of the program. The key partner of the project in 2026 was the state corporation «Rosatom».One of the main results of KRSU’s participation was the prize place of university student Angelina Bulatova. As part of the international FUTURE COMMONS team, she presented the PEACE HAND — adaptation center for migrant workers project.The project took third place based on the results of protecting initiatives developed by participants in the educational track «Russia opens its doors».The PEACE HAND concept provides for the creation of a center for comprehensive support for migrant workers. Its activities will be aimed at helping with social and cultural adaptation, providing the necessary information, legal support and promoting integration into the host society.Representatives of Uzbekistan and Abkhazia worked on the project together with Angelina Bulatova. An international team brought together participants from three countries to develop a practical solution aimed at supporting and adapting migrant workers.The defense of the projects took place at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of the Kazan Federal University. Participants presented initiatives dedicated to the development of education, intercultural interaction, support for migrants and the implementation of socially significant projects.In addition to the successful defense of Angelina Bulatova’s project, the participation of KRSU students made it possible to represent the university on various educational tracks, exchange experiences with young people from dozens of countries and gain practical experience working in international teams.The participation of students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University in «Summer University – 2026» contributes to the expansion of professional and academic ties, the development of international youth cooperation and strengthening interaction between universities in Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
