Professor KRSU presented a translation of his historical trilogy in Germany «Atilla — Khan of the Huns»
Professor of the Department of German Philology of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, Doctor of Philology Amangeldy Bekbalaev presented in Germany the part of his historical and artistic trilogy translated into German «Atilla — Khan of the Huns».
A series of presentations took place in five cities of Germany with the assistance of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Federal Republic of Germany and with the support of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic Omurbek Tekebaev.
Professor Bekbalayev's trilogy is dedicated to the personality and era of the great ruler and commander Attila, who went down in history as a symbol of the power and unity of the Hunnic tribes. The work organically combines scientific accuracy, historical accuracy and deep artistic understanding of the cultural interactions of the peoples of Eurasia.
According to the author, the translation into German opened up new opportunities for dialogue between cultures and helped to better understand the common historical roots of the peoples of Europe and Central Asia.
The work of the Kyrgyz linguist and writer aroused keen interest among representatives of German academic and cultural circles. The originality of the author's view, the philosophical depth of the work and the desire to comprehend ancient history through the prism of modernity were noted.
The presentations were accompanied by meetings with readers, discussions on the relationship between language, history and identity, and autograph sessions by the author.
Professor Bekbalayev's project became a notable cultural event that contributed to the strengthening of humanitarian ties and the development of scientific dialogue between Kyrgyzstan and Germany.
