The Vice-Rector of KRSU successfully presented the scientific project at the Congress
Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation Activities of KRSU Evgeny Shekunov successfully defended the university’s scientific project in front of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko. A project dedicated to the use of recycling in energy- and resource-saving technologies for the production of building materials was presented as part of the scientific exhibition KRSU.
The university's stand was one of the most notable venues of the Congress: it demonstrates applied solutions in the field of environmentally friendly technologies, processing of man-made waste and the development of the construction industry based on local raw materials. The stand materials include the results of studies of loam and ash and slag waste, spectral and granulometric analyzes, data on the physical and operational characteristics of the resulting building products.
The presented project reflects the strategic scientific directions of KRSU, outlined in the university presentation: environmental technologies, development of new generation building materials, implementation of R&D results and the formation of a sustainable integration scientific agenda between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
During his defense, the vice-rector presented the potential of KRSU as an integration scientific and educational platform, emphasizing opportunities in implementing joint scientific projects, training personnel, creating innovation laboratories and expanding cooperation with industry companies. Particular attention was paid to the prospects for the commissioning of small technology companies, the development of a startup studio and the unification of scientific schools within the framework of Eurasian academic cooperation.
In the next two days, the KRSU delegation will hold meetings with representatives of Russian government agencies, corporations, industrial partners and universities in the CIS countries. It is planned to discuss new research initiatives, exchange experience in the field of technology entrepreneurship, as well as expand the participation of KRSU in consortia and joint scientific platforms.
KRSU strengthens the position of the key «scientific bridge» between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, demonstrating practical research results and high potential for international cooperation.
