Working visit of KRSU to St. Petersburg Polytechnic University

A delegation of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) paid a working visit to the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. The visit took place within the framework of a roadmap for cooperation between universities and was dedicated to the exchange of experience in the field of distance learning. Guests from KRSU got acquainted with the distance learning system «Open Polytechnic», the basics of educational video production and the organization of educational courses.

The delegation was headed by Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology Mirlan Alseitov, Head of the Department of Physics and Microelectronics Aigul Aitimbetova and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction Gulmira Shabikova. They took theoretical and practical classes, studied the creation of training courses and mastered portal administration skills.

In addition, employees of the Open Education Center of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University conducted master classes on video production. During the visit, delegates from KRSU recorded several video lectures and discussed current trends in this area.
