Rakhman Allahverdiev was appointed acting dean of the Faculty of International Relations KRSU
Rakhman Allahverdiev has been appointed to the position of acting dean of the Faculty of International Relations of KRSU. This became known during a working meeting of the acting rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov with the deans of faculties and heads of structural divisions of the university.
Biography and education
Rakhman Allahverdiev has impressive academic and scientific experience:
• 2009–2012 — graduated from graduate school at St. Petersburg State University (SPbSU), Faculty of International Relations, defended his PhD thesis on the topic: «Foreign policy activities of Azerbaijan to ensure a peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict».
• 2004–2006 — Master's degree at St. Petersburg State University, Faculty of International Relations, master's thesis topic: «Nagorno-Karabakh: activities of the OSCE Minsk Group, theoretical foundations and prospects for a peaceful settlement».
• 1999–2004 — bachelor's degree at St. Petersburg State University, Faculty of International Relations, bachelor's thesis topic: «Development of relations between Turkey and the European Union in 1992–2002».
• Scientific internship: Institute of International Relations, University of Warsaw (2005–2006).
Sphere of scientific interests
Rakhman Allahverdiev's scientific activities focus on conflict resolution, political aspects of the activities of ethnic diasporas, interaction of international actors in the post-Soviet space, as well as on the study of historical and political aspects of the spread of the Islamic religion.
Rahman Allahverdiyev speaks several languages, including Turkish and Azerbaijani, as well as English.
Allahverdiev's appointment reflects KRSU's commitment to strengthening the academic foundation of the Faculty of International Relations while continuing to develop educational and scientific programs.
