The development of KRSU is identified among the priorities of Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation

Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko held a meeting with Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh Marlen Mamataliev.The parties confirmed the positive dynamics of Russian-Kyrgyz relations and expressed their readiness to further strengthen inter-parliamentary interaction. According to Valentina Matvienko, there is full support for expanding cooperation at the level of heads of state, and intensive parliamentary contacts indicate the parties’ desire to develop strategic and allied partnerships.During the meeting, special attention was paid to the educational direction and development of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. As the speaker of the Federation Council noted, the construction of a new university campus remains on the agenda, which is considered as a strategic project aimed at strengthening the educational infrastructure and expanding the training opportunities for specialists.The role of KRSU was also noted as a key platform for Russian-Kyrgyz humanitarian cooperation, ensuring the integration of educational and scientific processes of the two countries.
