Development of Slavic universities outside the Russian Federation: plans and prospects

At the Summer School of Journalism, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mogilevsky answered a question from KRSU student Arina Chernyshova about plans for the development of Slavic universities. Mogilevsky noted: «The Russian Ministry of Education and Science pays special attention to the development of Slavic universities. We have four of them so far, and there are still plans to open in Turkmenistan. Their double nature – is the most important thing. You receive both Kyrgyz and Russian education. Russian education – is the gateway to the vast world of knowledge, Russian students and youth. And we will continue to build up our partnership with Slavic universities».

Konstantin Mogilevsky emphasized that the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation continues to work to strengthen and expand cooperation with existing Slavic universities, as well as support new initiatives to open such educational institutions outside of Russia.

The Summer School of Journalism has become an excellent platform for discussing issues and exchanging opinions, which allows us to form new perspectives and develop international educational cooperation.
