The Rector of KRSU held a meeting with the Ambassador of India to Kyrgyzstan

A working meeting was held between the Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Kyrgyz Republic Birender Singh Yadav.During the meeting, issues of developing international cooperation and strengthening academic ties between Kyrgyzstan and India were discussed. It was noted that currently about 500 students from India are studying at KRSU, mainly in medical fields.The parties expressed interest in further expanding the partnership, including the development of engineering and other educational programs. The prospects for a visit of KRSU management to India to establish direct contacts with state universities and expand interuniversity interaction are considered.The participation of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University in the World Education Fair in New Delhi and possible assistance from the Indian side in the development of academic and institutional ties were also discussed.Following the meeting, the parties considered practical steps to implement the agreements reached and prepare cooperation agreements.
