Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov gave an interview to the news agency «Sputnik Kyrgyzstan», in which he spoke about key changes in the university, the results of the work of the Board of Trustees, infrastructure development, the launch of new educational programs and plans for the upcoming admissions campaign.The conversation touched upon issues of practice-oriented learning, expanding the number of budget places, cooperation with industrial partners, creating modern laboratories and project offices, as well as developing academic mobility and international relations.The rector paid special attention to career guidance work with applicants. According to him, the Open Day was one of the largest in recent years: more than 1,700 schoolchildren and parents visited the university. During the day, faculty consultation platforms operated, master classes, presentations of educational programs and open meetings with teachers and university management took place.«Our task — is not just to talk about admission, but to show the university alive, to give schoolchildren the opportunity to feel the atmosphere and understand where they want to study», — emphasized Sergei Volkov.After the broadcast, the rector also talked with agency employees - graduates of KRSU, discussing their professional path and experience in the media.
