Rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov took part in the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum

Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov took part in the plenary session of the X Eastern Economic Forum, which took place on September 5 in Vladivostok.

The key event of the forum was the speech of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, who outlined the prospects for the formation of a multipolar world and the importance of international cooperation. He also noted that over the ten years of its holding, the forum has acquired high international authority, becoming a significant platform for discussing key issues of economic development and international cooperation.

Speakers at the plenary session also included Prime Minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Sonsai Siphang-dong, Prime Minister of Mongolia Gombozhavyn Zandanshatar and Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Li Hongzhong.

The anniversary forum takes place on September 3–6 on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. In 2025, the main theme of the event is — «Far East: cooperation for peace and prosperity».
