Rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov spoke about the university’s new projects in an interview «Sputnik Kyrgyzstan»
Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov gave interview with the Sputnik news agency Kyrgyzstan, in which he summed up the results of the meeting of the Board of Trustees and outlined the key directions for the development of the university.
During the conversation, the rector noted that the decisions taken are aimed at further strengthening the status of KRSU as one of the leading educational centers in the region. Among the strategically important steps — signing a memorandum of cooperation with the state corporation Rosatom, launching a hydropower project office, opening modern laboratories, as well as expanding interaction with employers.
According to Sergei Volkov, the university is consistently strengthening its practice-oriented learning model. New partnership projects will allow students to gain professional experience while still studying, work with current cases and modern equipment, and also build a career trajectory together with industrial partners.
Special attention in the interview was paid to the development of the university infrastructure, updating educational programs and preparing for the upcoming admissions campaign. The management of KRSU sets the task of ensuring high quality education that meets modern economic and labor market requirements.
