Russian language – is a benefit for Kyrgyzstanis
Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University it is actively preparing for 2023 –, proclaimed in the CIS as the Year of the Russian Language as a language of interethnic communication. In 2021, under patronage KRSU about 20 scientific and educational events were held, in which teachers and students from schools in different regions of Kyrgyzstan took part. About this in a conversation on radio Sputnik Kyrgyzstan vice-rector for Information and Public Relations Leonid Sumarokov said.
According to him, the priority tasks of the university have always been to strengthen the position and promote the Russian language in Kyrgyzstan. The university pays special attention to the methods of teaching the Russian language – this is evidenced by numerous advanced training courses conducted by the university in 2021 and designed to help the country’s Russian teachers.
Last year, KRSU acted as a platform for live communication between experts and scientists from Russia, Kyrgyzstan and other countries that are not indifferent to the issues of preserving and supporting the Russian language –the University hosted the Days of Russian Language and Culture, a plenary session of the International Scientific Congress «Russian language in global scientific and educational space», a department «Pushkin Institute» was opened at the Faculty of Humanities.
