Russian language in the regions of Kyrgyzstan
With a view to studying the language situation and monitoring the position of the Russian language c regions of the Kyrgyz Republic employees Iinstitute of Russian Language named after. A. Orusbaeva KRSU from 16th to 20th April 2024. conducted field sociolinguistic research in the regions of the Kyrgyz Republic – Osh, Jalal-Abad, Naryn, Talas, Batken, Issyk-Kul and Chui regions. The main task this event was definition «well-being» russian language, identifying the attitude of the country's residents towards it, describing the relationships between the state and official languages in the mental and linguistic consciousness of people, studying issues of Kyrgyz-Russian bilingualism and the attractiveness of Russian-language education, as well as conducting knowledge sections on Russian language proficiency by graduates of Kyrgyz schools. In addition, the one of the main goals there was career guidance work to attract school graduates to new pedagogical specialties that are being openede at KRSU for teacher training in the bachelor's program in bilingual education.
To determine the degree of proficiency of residents of the regions of Kyrgyzstan in the language of Dostoevsky and Tolstoy, employees of the Institute of Russian Language KRSU visited the school-complex № 87 (p. Kyrgyz-Hek, Karasuyscue District, Osh Region); SSh № 97 (s. Uchkun, Osh region); secondary school № 101 named after. K. Mombekova (s. Shark, Osh region); secondary school «Komsomol» № 35, school-gymnasium named after. Toktosuna Temiralieva № 6 (p. Barpy, Jalal-Abad region); school-lyceum «Kyrgyz-Turk access» № 52, school-gymnasium № 31 named after. Kurmanjan Datki (s. Japalak, Osh region). AND THEresearch work conductedas in SSH № 7 and 10 (g. Naryn), secondary school named after. A. Zhutakeeva (s. Zhan-Bulak, Naryn region), secondary school № 9 named after. A. Sadykova, secondary school № 1 named after. T. Satylganova, secondary school «Dostuk» (Naryn region).
Of particular interest were the guest lectures that were given by teachers and students Osh State and Jalal-Abad Universities M.J. Tagaev, Doctor of Philology, Professor KRSU, etc M. S. Chinloda, candidate of Philological Sciences. Scientists spoke about the role of the Russian language in public discourse, scientific and educational space, mental-linguistic and bilingual consciousness of the residents of Kyrgyzstan. Dla creations and strengthenedaya motivating young people to learn the Russian language speakers emphasized ideas of significance russian culture and its role for the development of Kyrgyz values and high-quality education in Russian for the successful formation of human capital and raising a creative and competitive personality for the modern labor market.
The survey covered students of the Lyaylyak district of the Batken region: gymnasium № 4 named after. U. Matkarimova (g. Razzakov), secondary school named after. Alisher Navoi (g. Razzakov), gymnasium № 1 (g. Razzakov), secondary school named after. Yuri Gagarin (g. Razzakov), secondary school named after. Amir Timur (g. Razzakov), secondary school named after. Toktogul Satylganov (city. Razzakov), secondary school «Issyk-Kul» (g. Razzakov), SSh «Isfana» (g. Razzakov).
The survey results reflected a sufficient level of Russian language proficiency among students of the secondary school named after. Magrifa Rakhimova (s. Chelpek, Issyk-Kul region), SSG named after. Mamakeeva (Ak-Suu district, Issyk-Kul region).
During the sociolinguistic study, students of the Talas region were interviewed: secondary school named after. Shekerbek Sherkulov, secondary school № 4, secondary school named after. A. Ogonbaeva, secondary school № 8, etc., located in Talas and the village. Kok-Tokoy, Kum-Aryk, Talas region.
IRYA staff also visited a secondary school-gymnasium № 1 (g. Shopokov, Chui region), secondary school № 5 (g. Kara-Balta, Chui region), secondary school № 12 (g. Kara-Balta, Chui region), secondary school named after. Pushkin (city. Tokmak, Chui region), secondary school № 6 named after. K.R. Ryskulova (g. Kant).
Currently, the received data is being processed, which will be included in the content of the monograph, being developed under the leadership of Doctor of Philology M. J. Tagaeva. In addition, taking into account the results of the survey of high school students, it is planned to publish a textbook «We Speak Russian».
