«School of Public Communications»: a round table was held at KRSU dedicated to the Day of Diplomat of the Kyrgyz Republic
On October 23, a round table «School of Public Communications» dedicated to the Day of Diplomat of the Kyrgyz Republic was held in the conference hall of the main building of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
The event was attended by students of the Faculty of International Relations KRSU, and the moderator was the President of the OF «Heritage of Victory», Chairman of the Council of Young Russian Compatriots Anastasia Shevchenko.
The round table was opened by the dean of the FMO KRSU Alexey Kulikovsky, humanitarian issues specialist of the Russian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic Ksenia Skachkova, deputy head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Bishkek Baira Buvaeva.
Ainura Akmatalieva, Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and Political Science at KRSU, spoke at the event – ona spoke about international relations and diplomacy in the context of digitalization; teachers of the Department of International Journalism KRSU Dmitry Utkin and Aichurok Erkinbekova made presentations on the peculiarities of media work with the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (using the example of the Russian Foreign Ministry) and the diplomatic aspect of modern international journalism.
At the end, a detailed discussion took place about the role of the diplomat in the structure of the architecture of the world, about public diplomacy and modern trends in journalism in modern realities.
