Schoolchildren from secondary school KRSU attended the legendary festival “Scarlet Sails” in St. Petersburg
Students of the secondary school of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took part in one of the most striking events of this summer — the world famous holiday “Scarlet Sails”, held annually in St. Petersburg in honor of the Last Bell for school graduates.
The main symbol of graduation — is not just a show, but real magic. In the open night sky, to music and fireworks, a scarlet sailboat passes between drawbridges along the Neva — the same one from the story by Alexander Green. The spectacle fascinates with its scale, atmosphere and emotional intensity.
The theme of the 2024 holiday was the victory of good over evil, which was symbolically reflected in the dedication to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The visual imagery, plot and stage design were a reminder of the heroism, resilience and eternal value of the world.
In addition to participating in the festive show, KRSU schoolchildren visited the cultural and historical sights of St. Petersburg, having a unique opportunity to touch history and art. The trip program included:
– State Hermitage Museum,
– Peter and Paul Fortress,
– Museum of Russian Railways,
– Historical Park “Russia — my history”,
– Museum-Reserve “Peterhof”,
– Central Naval Museum named after. Emperor Peter the Great,
– Historical and Patriotic Complex “Northern Convoys”,
as well as other iconic places in the northern capital.
The trip was not only a cultural discovery, but also an inspiring start to a new stage in life for future graduates. The guys left with bright emotions, new knowledge and the belief that real dreams will definitely come true — you just have to raise the sails to the wind.
