Siberian Federal University will help KRSU become an advanced university

On August 2, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) received a return visit from a delegation of the Siberian Federal University (SFU) led by its rector Maxim Rumyantsev and a representative of the government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory – Deputy Minister of Education Denis Gergilev.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss the prospects for cooperation between KRSU and Siberian Federal University, as well as new initiatives in the field of educational and scientific activities proposed by Krasnoyarsk residents.

The meeting with the Russian delegation began with a greeting from acting by KRSU Rector German Lotsev. SFU Rector Maxim Rumyantsev in his speech, pointing out the university’s readiness to share its accumulated work experience, emphasized the importance of developing joint educational programs that can cover various areas of knowledge. Among the priorities, he highlighted applied computer science energy and technosphere safety, obtaining a second education in the field of IT technologies. These programs will provide students with a quality education and prepare for modern challenges in the labor market.

An important topic was the issue of cooperation in the field of advanced training of teachers. SFU offers to use its production center to conduct training seminars and master classes that will contribute to the professional growth of teachers and improve the quality of education at KRSU.

In addition, issues of interaction within the framework of additional vocational education and secondary vocational education were discussed.

One of the key points of the meeting was the consideration of the possibility of creating an SFU on the basis of KRSU scientific and educational Co-working center, intended for both students and employees of KRSU and Bishkek residents. The implementation of the project will create a platform for holding joint events – meetings, scientific conferences and round tables between Siberian Federal University and KRSU. This will ensure that universities interact more effectively in developing the scientific potential of both parties.

The idea of a digital business incubator called «Digital Simulation of Business Management» was also presented.

As Vice-Rector for Information and Public Relations Leonid Sumarokov noted, cooperation between the two universities is an excellent example of how universities can join forces in the interests of improving the educational process and developing scientific activities, in the interests of turning KRSU into an advanced university in the region, representing the best achievements of Russian education.

The meeting and discussion of issues of interaction between the two universities was attended by vice-rectors and directors of the college and school KRSU.
