Through times and destinies together with Pushkin
The publishing house KRSU published a book by V. Voropaeva «”I sing the same hymns...”. The problem of reconciliation of the irreconcilable in the work of A. Pushkin». This second, expanded, edition of the book, which became a rarity immediately after its first publication, was prepared for publication by employees of the Russian Language Institute. Prof. A. Orusbaeva (KRSU) at numerous requests from teachers of schools and universities in Kyrgyzstan.
The author of the book is professor KRSU, excellent student of education in the Kyrgyz Republic, llaureate of the State Prize in the field of science and technology, International Scientific Prize named after. E. Roerich, medal winner A. Pushkin «For great services in the dissemination of the Russian language», medals KRSU «For services to the university», Pushkin historian Valentina Alekseevna Voropaeva.
The publication of the book is timed to coincide with the Year of the Russian Language in the CIS and is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of KRSU, in which Professor V. Voropaeva’s work experience is also 30 years!
Exploring the historical facts that permeate Pushkin’s work, talking about the «strange rapprochements» that it gives rise to in today’s reader, V. Voropaeva herself amazingly brings together Pushkin’s «lyre» and Kyrgyz «komuz». Traveling through times and destinies together with the author, discovering amazing parallels in space and time, intersections of destinies that open up in Pushkin’s work when carefully studying him under «the historical microscope» and in comparison with ours «today», we are convinced how much Pushkin means for Kyrgyzstan, what an important place he occupies in the hearts of Kyrgyzstanis.
This book – is not only a tribute to the memory of the great Russian poet, his ancestors, contemporaries and descendants. It is addressed to all those who value the name of Pushkin in Kyrgyzstan, who make a lot of efforts to study the influence of the Pushkin phenomenon on Kyrgyz literature and culture, on preserving the status and position of the Russian language in our republic, and speak out in support of Kyrgyz-Russian relations.
