ETF employees presented the first mobile laboratory for monitoring environmental safety in the Kyrgyz Republic

The first mobile laboratory for the study of harmful emissions appeared in Kyrgyzstan. The innovation will help fight smog. The complex is assembled from Russian equipment based on a minibus. The laboratory was designed by specialists from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of KRSU.

«Our laboratory allows you to take measurements near busy intersections, monitor and analyze the spread of pollution throughout the capital, taking into account the wind, etc.», – Andrey Podrezov, head of the department of meteorology, ecology and environmental protection at KRSU, said at the presentation.

«All equipment has been certified, there is no doubt about the accuracy of the readings. The first test studies have already been carried out at major intersections of the city during morning, lunch and evening rush hours. Excess of harmful emissions was recorded for all components», – noted Dmitry Glazunov, head of the department of road transport.

Let us remind you that the first stationary station for monitoring atmospheric air quality was opened at KRSU in December 2018.
