How to enroll in KRSU
Participation in the competition for budget and contract places will be carried out in several ways:
1. Via study.krsu.kg. The portal belongs to KRSU and is intended for citizens of Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Tajikistan who participate in the competition for budget places financed by the Russian Federation.
2. Also, through this site, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic with higher education who enroll in full-time and part-time contract places can try their hand at it.
3. In addition, the site is designed for those wishing to study for a bachelor's degree in the field «technosphere safety» as part of a targeted reception of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.
4. Via the website 2020.edu.gov.kg. The portal belongs to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and is intended for applicants with an ORT certificate (school and college graduates). They can participate in competitions for grant and contract places for full-time and part-time studies.
5. Via edugate.edu.gov.kg. The portal also belongs to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and is intended for foreign applicants wishing to study full-time and part-time under a contract.
How to apply for budget places in the Russian Federation
Enrollment is carried out based on the results of the KRSU competition for citizens of Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Tajikistan.
For all areas, except creative ones, the competition is held on the basis of the results of ORT (Kyrgyzstan), Unified State Exam (Russia), average score of the education document and UNT (Kazakhstan). There will be no entrance exams.
For budget places in directions «architecture», «architectural environment design» and «art of costume and textiles» a competition is held based on the results of a creative exam, which is held weekly at KRSU at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction.
How to apply for budget places in the Kyrgyz Republic
Enrollment in grant (budget) places is carried out based on the results of ORT on the portal 2020.edu.gov.kg. Applicants who have received ORT gold certificates are accepted for grants without competition by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
How to enroll in KRSU for a contract
Kyrgyzstanis who do not have a higher education can be recommended for enrollment on a contract on the website 2020.edu.gov.kg if the main ORT test is above the established threshold score for all specialties and study programs, except medical ones.
Applicants who have the results of the relevant subject tests above the threshold score participate in the competition based on the sum of the points of the main and additional subject tests and enjoy priority rights to enrollment.
For medical specialties, the presence of subject tests in two specialized subjects (chemistry and biology) above the threshold score is mandatory.
Applicants applying based on ORT results for a contract form of training in areas requiring passing a creative competition («architecture», «architectural environment design», «art of costume and textiles») it is necessary to pass a creative exam at KRSU before the start of ORT tours.
Citizens of foreign countries can be recommended for enrollment in contract places, subject to successful completion of the competition on edugate.edu.gov.kg without taking into account the results of ORT based on the average score of the education document.
Reception based on the results of ORT will take place within the time limits established by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, and indicated on the website 2020.edu.gov.kg and on the reverse side of the ORT certificate.
The threshold ORT scores are established by the CR MOiN after testing.
