Strategic session on the implementation of educational programs «double diplomas»
On November 14, 2024, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University hosted a Strategic Session in a mixed format on double degree programs in Kyrgyzstan. The strategic session was organized by the Department for Coordination of the Activities of Educational Organizations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the Russian Language Institute of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia named after. Patrice Lumumba, Institute of Russian Language of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. B. N. Yeltsin.

Bogdan Olga Vyacheslavovna she spoke about international joint educational programs of double diplomas with educational organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic: general overview, trends and prospects.
Syulkova Natalya Vladimirovna and Shirinsky Sergey Vladimirovich, Head of the External Relations Department of the National Research University «MPR» (Russia) shared their experience in implementing international double degree programs with educational organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic: successes and difficulties.
He continued the discussion on double degree programs in Kyrgyzstan Zulpukarov Kapar Zulkuparovich, Director of the Linguistic Center of Osh State University. Kapar Zulpukarovich shared his experience of introducing a double degree program at Osh State University, a Zhusupova Aida Abdullazhanovna, head of the Department of Russian Philology at Jalal-Abad State University, spoke about the difficulties and prospects of working with foreign universities. The discussion continued further Ernisova Aigerim Ernisovna, Head of the Russian Language Center of the Institute of Russian Language KRSU. Aigerim Ernisovna spoke about double degree programs at universities in Kyrgyzstan. Representatives of Russian and Kyrgyz universities joined the discussion. The Russian side noted that it supports the opening of new programs with double diplomas and is always ready to promote and develop Russian-language education in Kyrgyzstan. Tagaev Mamed Dzhakypovich raised the issue of opening a joint dissertation council on the Russian language and the methodology of its teaching with the issuance of diplomas of candidate and doctor of sciences of Kyrgyz and Russian models. The strategic session was concluded with a discussion on modeling the vision of the future of joint educational programs with educational ones
organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic, taking into account fundamental aspects: (1) levels of education; (2) areas of training; (3) search for solutions to overcome regulatory and methodological barriers; (4) risk assessment: changes in legislation, expansion in the educational market by other countries, etc.
