KRSU student translated Minecraft into Kyrgyz — developers added it to the game

Atay Azamatov, a third-year student at the Department of Journalism at KRSU, initiated the translation of the cult game Minecraft into Kyrgyz. His work was highly appreciated by the developers — in the latest update of the game, the official Kyrgyz translation is already available to users around the world.

«I tried to contact the game organizers during my school years, but it didn’t work out until May last year. I started the translation around the same time. This is a very important event for the country and the development of the state language», — Atay shared.

The student's initiative sparked a wave of support in the Kyrgyz community and was a significant step in promoting the Kyrgyz language in the international digital environment.
