Student KRSU represents Kyrgyzstan at the international forum of journalists SputnikPro 2025 in Moscow
In Moscow, from June 22 to 28, 2025, on the basis of the international media holding «Russia Today», the annual SputnikPro forum is held, uniting young journalists from the CIS countries and far abroad. Among the event participants — student of the Department of International Journalism of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) Gleb Mikhin, representing Kyrgyzstan.
The SputnikPro forum, organized by the international news agency and radio Sputnik, provides a unique platform for the exchange of experience and professional development. Participants from the CIS countries attend lectures and seminars, and also carry out practical tasks under the guidance of leading experts from the media holding «Russia Today». The program includes a discussion of modern trends in journalism, such as creating multimedia content, working on social networks and combating fake news.
Gleb Mikhin, a student at KRSU, noted the significance of the event for professional growth: «Participation in SputnikPro — is an opportunity not only to learn about the latest approaches to journalism, but also to establish professional connections with colleagues from other countries. Practical assignments from experts help to better understand how to create quality content in a rapidly changing media space».
SputnikPro — an international educational project aimed at supporting young journalists, students of specialized universities and media managers. Since its launch in 2018, more than 5,000 people from 80 countries have taken part in the project's master classes and seminars.
The participation of KRSU students in such a prestigious event emphasizes the high level of training of future journalists at the university and their readiness to represent Kyrgyzstan in the international arena.
